The house was purchased as a ruin by Don and Wendy in the early 90’s taking 6 years of renovation to bring the building up to its current listing as a grade A Georgian Mansion.
The style of service at the house is unobtrusive, relaxed and friendly with emphasis on the individual guest. The decor of the house is an eclectic mix of traditional with contemporary influences. Each room is individually decorated and vary in size, shape and aesthetic.
Contemporary works of art are exhibited throughout the house, however the house itself and the design by the acclaimed Scottish architect Archibald Simpson is the real attraction given its simplicity and the mathematical rigour of its design.
