Romantic Scottish Wedding Venue
Boath House has been called one of the finest small Georgian Mansions in Scotland, designed by the renowned architect Archibald Simpson, and set in its own 20 acres of mature gardens. It has been the perfect backdrop for a number of films and television programmes.
Weddings here are small and bespoke. The requirements of the future Bride and Groom are paramount, and each ceremony is designed to fit their personal wishes and not from a menu of set options. We can arrange the entire ceremony from start to finish, or are happy to have the various elements arranged by the families. We make no additional charges for the supervision of third party services.
Traditional Scottish Highland Weddings
Boath House is recognised as one of Britain’s foremost restaurants, and our Chef Charles Lockley is happy to discuss individual requirements based on local and seasonal produce. Weddings in the 21st Century are as diverse and interesting as the couples who take part in the ceremonies. We can arrange for the ceremony to be Religious, Civil, or Humanist depending on your preferences, and we also provide reference advice.
Consistently listed as one of the most romantic retreats in the Country, the house and grounds offer a unique glimpse of the glories of the Georgian past in one of Scotland’s sunniest locations. The house has eight rooms and can seat up to 32 guests in the dining room. Locations for ceremonies include the pillared hall, large lounges, or if the weather is fair then many couples settle for a lakeside ceremony, or amongst the several thousand daffodils blooming at Springtime.
