Breakfast at Boath House Hotel

Being the most important meal of the day, we make the most of the vegetables and fruit, from the walled garden, into our juices and fruit smoothies.  By using our own home grown ingredients we can follow the seasons, giving you the freshest of tastes.

Luxury hotel accommodation in Scotland

We make our own home made jams and preserves which complement perfectly our home baked bread and buns.

Golspie Mill provides our organic porridge oats. The water mill was built in 1863 and restored in 1992 and also provides unusual bread flours.

Hardmuir Farm, neighbouring Boath, grows strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, Tayberries and other soft fruit.

Smoked Collar Bacon comes from field reared pigs from Peelham Farm, an organic sustainable farm in Berwick-upon-tweed. Integrity, sustainability, traceability and taste are their mantras.

Loch Fyne Kippers are from George Campbell and Sons, fish merchants since 1872. The herrings are caught in Loch Fyne and smoked over oak.

Uig Lodge Smoked Salmon was established in 1984 on the west coast of Lewis and smokes only locally caught salmon.

Our duck eggs come from Allaburn, Elgin and our hen’s eggs, which are organic, are from Gordon Whiteford at Ardesier.

Woodland mushrooms are sourced locally.
