Q. Can we bring pets?
Boath House is happy to accommodate dogs and cats in the hotel,by prior agreement only, so please let us know at the time of booking so that we can make arrangements.
Q. What time can we check in?
We cannot guarantee availability of rooms before 3:00 pm on the day of arrival, but you are very welcome at any time and may make use of the restaurant and garden. We ask that guests vacate their rooms by 12 noon on the day of departure but, again, you are welcome to use the hotel facilities for the rest of the day.
Q. Can we bring children?
We are delighted to welcome children of any age, and we can provide foldaway beds in some rooms (extra charge £55.00 including breakfast), cots and high chairs (at no extra charge). Early suppers can be provided for younger children with prior arrangments. We do also offer a babysitting service. Alternatively older children can dine with their parents on the understanding that they are able to sit for the duration of the meal.
Q. Are there facilities for the disabled?
We have one ground floor cottage that is designed to be suitable for disabled use and includes a bath lift if required. The Restaurant is on the ground floor and accessible for wheelchairs, though not specifically designed for them. Please let us know when booking, of any disability so we can ensure you have a comfortable stay.
Q. Is smoking permitted in the hotel?
In line with the rest of the United Kingdom smoking on the premises is not permitted. Guests who smoke in their rooms will incur a £200 charge due to extra cleaning costs. However guests are welcome to smoke in the gardens and grounds.
Q. Is there a corkage charge?
Corkage is charged at £15 per bottle for wine and £25 per bottle for Champagne. We are very pleased to serve refreshments to our guests during the afternoon as well as evening. We would therefore ask that guests do not consume alcoholic drinks on our premises that they have bought elsewhere.
